Savvy Homeschool Moms Pandia Press Giveaway…

I love giveaways. Yes, partly because there’s a chance to win something neat (or at least free), but also because that’s how I tend to find some interesting new blogs or newsletters that way. I found a couple great crafting newsletters last month when they were giving away particular camera bags I liked (the manufacturer of the bags clued me into the giveaway in those instances).  Often I give up rather quickly though, because many giveaways require you to give so much personal information or offer chances to win based on social media I do not use (Twitter, I’m looking at you…)

Currently, Savvy Homeschool Moms are giving away a free book from Pandia Press. I already love Pandia Press materials – I use their History and Science texts right now and I really appreciate how you can chose to get hard copies or electronic versions. What I’m loving about Savvy Homeschool Moms is that they’ve done a really nice job of making it pretty easy to enter their giveaway; there isn’t an over-reliance on one particular form of social media or too many requirements that make me feel like I can only drop my name in the hat once where other people will easily be able to enter twenty times.  I don’t feel like I had to trade too much of my privacy for a vague chance of winning something when really I’m just promoting for them.

So let’s move on to them.  I found the Savvy Homeschool Moms via a Facebook friend’s like on Facebook itself. I haven’t had much time to explore everything they have to offer, but they do offer podcasts on homeschooling topics which seem to be pretty popular. They seem to go to their FB followers to get input for a podcast topic and there are frequently posts and photos of homeschool related things on the page, which I appreciate. I have been actively seeking out more homeschooling FB pages since I found The Libertarian Homeschooler a few months ago and I’m happy to add this one to the list.
